Mola Foods to Offer ‘Taste of Africa’

A native of Cameroon, LaFortune Jeannette Djabea opened Mola Foods in Nashua to share African cuisine and culture, an intention that also informs her launch of Taste of Africa events this spring. Often featuring live music, Taste of Africa events provide guests with the opportunity to sample flavors from across the continent through both vegan and meat dishes that are paired with wine.

Taste of Africa Strikes a Chord in Nashua, NH

One of the biggest challenges faced by businesswoman and entrepreneur LaFortune Jeannette Djabea when she first opened Mola Foods in 2016 in Nashua was that many people did not seem interested in African cuisine. Change, however, may be in the proverbial air, as her recent Taste of Africa events appear to resonate with people of all ages.

Mola Foods To Offer ‘African Desserts and Wine Tasting’

On Friday, May 20, Mola Foods will host ‘African Desserts and Wine Tasting,’ an event that will feature desserts from various African countries and wine from Averill House Vineyard in Brookline, NH. The event builds on similar events at Mola Foods in downtown Nashua, NH where Founder LaFortune Jeannette Djabea said the objective is “to bring communities together, build friendships, and encourage people to discover African culture.”
