Taste Of Africa Valentines Day Celebration
February 14, 2022 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Featuring live music by Rabihah Ruby Shabazz, the event will take guests on a culinary tour of Cameroon, Ethiopia, And Morocco. Dishes will be paired with wine from Averill House Vineyard in Brookline, NH. For those with dietary restrictions, each dish will also be offered gluten-free or vegan.
“Welcome to A Celebration of love with A Taste of Africa,” said Djabea, owner of Mola Foods in Nashua. “Taste of Africa is my open-hearted invitation to come experience a bit of my culture right here in New Hampshire.”
For Djabea, African cuisine is a gateway to African culture, a message that has caught on with the media, too. Mola Foods was featured on NH Chronicle on WMUR News 9.
“I am thrilled by the opportunity to share African cuisine and culture with people in New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts,” said Djabea. “If I can surprise people with the beauty of African Food, I think that is an important step in people reconsidering what they think they know about Africa itself.”

“There will be plenty of food, and the atmosphere will be very comfortable,” said Djabea, who said she is purposefully keeping the menu a secret until the night of the event. “I’m hoping to attract adventurous people willing to try something new…I promise you will be surprised and delighted.”
